We would like to provide some reassurance to members following the results of yesterday's EU Referendum. It is our belief that the future of energy efficiency within the UK remains unchanged following the small majority 'Out' vote. The legislation governing our certification schemes is enshrined in UK Law and we believe that this secures the future of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs) and Air Conditioning Certificates (ACIs).
Strategically, the voting results have no material effect on our sector of industry. One of our strengths has always been our ability to adapt to market demands and fluctuations. Stroma has innovated and changed our products and services regularly in order to support our members and provide the tools and systems which enable you to thrive in your industry. Regardless of the result, this is a commitment which will always remain unchanged.
Since the establishment of Stroma Certification in 2007 we have worked closely with Government and policy makers to reflect the views of our members and inform policy development. We will continue to monitor economic and political developments over the coming weeks and months to ensure our members have a voice and can help to influence the industry's next steps.
As always we encourage members to contact our customer service and technical support teams on 01977 665 420 with any questions you may have. We will endeavour to communicate any future developments via our website, blog, social media and members area platforms.
