Stroma Certification staff held a charity day on Friday 7th March in aid of Cancer Research UK. The day was a huge success and raised £275.28 in support of cancer research.
Staff were encouraged to “dress down” for the day and some got into the spirit of the occasion by dressing in their onesies or pyjamas. Our Jamie Olivers and Delia Smiths combined to put on a delicious bake sale with a mouth-watering assortment of cakes, buns, biscuits and other sweet treats which were devoured in the blink of an eye. Stroma Certification’s Tim Beatson also volunteered to have his beard completely shaved off with all money raised going towards Cancer Research UK.
The fundraising doesn’t stop at Stroma and some of our ladies will be running the ‘Race for Life’ at Temple Newsam on Saturday 29th June. We wish them the best of luck and thank all Stroma Certification staff for their efforts in raising money for such a worthwhile cause.
