As the Coronavirus spreads further in the UK, due to its impact on people & businesses and the risks associated with the virus, Stroma recognises its duty of care to all employees, contractors, visitors, clients and suppliers to ensure we take every step possible and restrict the exposure and spread of the Coronavirus.
Stroma have conducted a risk assessment of a Coronavirus outbreak affecting the business and we are following identified control measures to mitigate the risks of our employees and contractors contracting and transmitting the virus to others. This includes applying the mandatory isolation period for those employees suffering from symptoms as specified by the Government.
We have made provisions for hand sanitiser and hand wash to be used in all Stroma offices and by all site based personnel to try and limit the possible exposure to the virus.
Business Continuity control measures are in place to ensure Stroma can provide effective and continued business services in this current climate for as long as necessary.
We are guided by the latest government advice on the Coronavirus and will continue to monitor this advice regularly to adopt effective measures in controlling and mitigating the risk to our employees, contractors, visitors, clients and suppliers.
We would kindly request that all our partners work together to ensure the spread of the virus is reduced, by following the advice of the UK Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation in staying protected and mitigating the risks to others.
