Stroma Certification, has partnered with Reset Certification Scheme to promote competence and professionalism throughout the construction and energy industries.
Reset offers a competence-verification scheme for any organisation that needs to bring third-party contractors onto their site. By checking in a Reset Competence card, companies can verify that any third party contractors have the skills and qualifications necessary to complete the job.
Stroma Certification provides a wide range of certification schemes and training courses to energy assessors, installers and companies across a variety of skills and specialisms.
As a Government approved body, we are committed to ensuring competence in the delivery of services into the construction and energy industries. This ethos was a perfect fit with Reset in terms of the Reset Cards which allow industry professionals to prove their competency, qualifications and accreditations.
Stroma has always been at the forefront of their industry, adapting to changing regulations in order to provide services which allow our members to thrive. Our certification schemes include Competent Person Schemes which certify installers to carry out work on behalf of a homeowner in compliance with the Building Regulations. Our Group Competence Scheme is a certification standard for companies with large numbers of gas installers (as an alternative to ACS). We are also pioneering a new BIM Certification scheme which certifies companies and individuals able to work to Building Information Modelling and digital construction standards.
Steve Horrocks, Managing Director of Stroma Certification, said: "I'm delighted that Stroma will be working in partnership with Reset. There are clear similarities both in our approach to the industry and synergies between our clients and members. Together, we can further improve competence within the industry and ensure time and resource savings for our customers."
Gary Duce, Managing Director of Reset, said: "We are proud to welcome Stroma as both a member of Reset and a partner to the business. The partnership will offer both organisations opportunities to provide significant benefits to members and customers and to advance competence and health and safety within our industry."
