Boris Johnson and the Government have today announced their 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution in the UK. Away from the headline-grabbing ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030, there are interesting proposals for the housebuilding and energy sectors. Investment is promised in clean technologies such as wind and domestic heat pumps.
Our Group Marketing Manager, John Prydderch, spoke to colleagues from across the Group to get an initial reaction to this news:
Andrew Parkin, Director of Energy Certification (Stroma Certification)
Carl Cappuccini, Sustainability Consultant (Stroma Built Environment)
Stuart Oakes, Commercial Manager (Stroma Group)
