Stroma Building Control was built from three of the industry’s most recognised Approved Inspectors: Approved Design Consultancy, BBS Building Control and Greendoor Building Control. In October 2018, the separate businesses were brought together under one brand; offering building control services as an alternative to Local Authority Building Control (LABC).

Our Holborn office was previously Approved Design’s best performing commercial office before the acquisition by Stroma Group. We’ve recently moved into a new and larger office space within the same building to accommodate a growing team and portfolio of clients and projects.
The Holborn office primarily deals with commercial projects across London and surrounding counties, including large complex buildings and multi-million-pound commercial developments. More recently, the team has been working with Lidl on the construction of their UK headquarters in South West London.
With 16 offices across the UK and ambitious expansion plans for the future, we’re actively recruiting for Building Control Surveyors at all levels in a number of regions.

In April, we launched Stroma's Training Academy.
