Ed Innocent joined Stroma in 2017 as Group Fleet and Facilities Manager. With previous health & safety experience, Ed has taken on an extended role as Group H&S Manager to support our health and safety team.
We asked Ed a few questions about his new role within the health and safety team and his career development at Stroma.
"I joined Stroma in 2017 to manage the fleet of vehicles and oversee facilities management for Stroma's office premises across the country.
I had health & safety responsibility and undertook the NEBOSH General Certificate qualification in a previous role with a different employer.
I began working with Stroma's Group Head of Quality and Health & Safety in 2019 to develop Stroma's health & safety policies and procedures for all group activities.
A restructure of the team gave me an opportunity to become Group Health & Safety Manager while keeping responsibility for all fleet and facilities processes, a challenge which I am looking forward to."
"The development will help me to have a view of all aspects of Stroma's offering to clients and means that I can ensure all activities, whether they be within our offices or on client sites, be carried out in a safe, sustainable and compliant manner."
"I would eventually like to join the Executive Board of Stroma."
"Stroma is a very engaging employer, and anyone with the ambition to learn about different aspects of any role would enjoy working with the diverse team throughout the Group."
