Stroma Certification enjoyed an outstanding night at the National Green Deal & ECO Awards 2015, by collecting two awards and coming second in our other two categories. Our victories came in the coveted Data & Software Company of the Year and Installer Certification Body of the Year categories, with second places in the Assessor Certification Body of the Year and Training Organisation of the Year categories. It marks the culmination of a dedicated investment and development programme in the past 12 months, which has encompassed software and scheme improvements, as well as enhancing internal infrastructure and customer support systems.
The Data & Software category win is a big feather in the cap for Stroma, whose in-house development team is unique in the provision of software backed by the industry expertise throughout the rest of the business. It rewards a year in which our Tracker workflow management software provided an enhanced capability to manage the Green Deal and ECO journey across multiple devices and users. The award also recognises that Stroma Certification successfully delivered upgrades in line with key regulatory amendments, including RdSAP 9.92 and ECO 2.
Installer Certification remains one of Stroma Certification’s priorities and they have achieved significant growth across our Green Deal Installer (GDI), Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Competent Person Scheme (CPS). In particular, the win rewards our competitively priced, benefit-rich and fast-growing Part P CPS scheme which Stroma has consistently promoted throughout the past 12 months. The business was also quick to react to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and now offers installers all RHI-approved measures as part of our MCS installer scheme.
Alongside the Data & Software and Installer Certification awards, Stroma placed second in the Assessor Certification Body of the Year and Training Organisation of the Year categories. We remain the foremost assessor certification body in the energy industry and having won the training award in 2014, the collective company performance on the night proves that Stroma Certification is now at the forefront of certification, software and training delivery across the length and breadth of the energy sector.
Matthew Ferguson, Managing Director & CEO, said: “I am delighted that the National Green Deal & ECO Awards has recognised the exceptional performance of Stroma over the past year. Our achievement across all four nominated categories is something to be proud of and especially the software and installer awards. As an organisation which was amongst the first to provide Green Deal and ECO services to the industry we remain committed to ensuring its participants have the skills, support and opportunities to succeed.”
Stroma Certification will continue to work alongside the energy industry to maintain our achievements across certification, software and training services. There is committed investment scheduled to promote ongoing software development and the company is ready to react to political and regulatory changes to maintain the opportunities provided by our certification schemes for the benefit of our members.
