The Stroma Group recently delivered a full CPD day for DCHI Committee members, to offer certification insight and advice, as well as demonstrate our broad capabilities across the built environment.
On Thursday 2nd May Stroma’s Director of Energy Certification, Andy Parkin delivered a full-day of CPD to DCHI Committee members in Exeter.
As part of Stroma’s wider commitment to keeping our members and clients informed of important changes in the industry, the CPD event was organised to provide valuable insight from our experts.
During the CPD event Andy was on hand to deliver a comprehensive presentation detailing upcoming changes in the industry. This included approaching changes to RdSAP / the EPC and PAS 2035 and Trustmark, an explanation of Smart Audit Rules and processes of how current rules are applied in practice, the latest SORs and how they impact on assessors, and a review of RdSAP conventions and what they mean in practice.
Changes in the industry are frequent and at times complex, it’s important to keep abreast of all current events and upcoming changes, this is something we take seriously at Stroma. We believe this reinforces and highlights our commitment to industry change and continual improvement to best practice.
That’s why we’re keen to monitor changes and provide best solutions to our members, as part of Stroma Certification’s commitment to CPD. As the largest DEA Certification provider in the UK, we have a responsibility to our members to keep them informed of industry changes as they happen.
Stroma’s Director of Energy Certification, Andy Parkin says, "It’s always great to get a group of energy assessors together, share industry knowledge and listen to people’s concerns and problems. In this environment we can offer guidance, collaborate to develop software solutions, methodology and conventions.
Stroma Certification has always placed great value on organising CPD events and will continue to do so in the future - for the good of the industry and its members."
Ian Sturt, DCHI’s Vice Chair said, "The immediate feedback has been that it was well thought out CPD event from Stroma, ideal for our CPD needs. Andy’s knowledgeable and professional delivery of the day-long event has done much to enhance the perception of Stroma amongst our members."
