Due to his interest in DJing and music production, Richard gained over 15 years work experience in the music industry. From this experience, he learned a lot about sound and the acoustic environment.
His passion for music production led Richard to research roles which would combine his skills and develop others. In 2018, Richard completed his masters in audio engineering, with a side-line career as a music producer / studio engineer.
Richard joins Stroma Built Environment as an Acoustic Consultant. He’ll be working closely with clients across the UK to test noise levels on new developments. This will involve report writing and reviewing designs of new structures to ensure they meet noise level requirements.
What attracted you to join Stroma? “The impression I got from the interview was very positive. I left feeling that I could gain a lot of varied experience within acoustics and progress quite quickly to become a confident and skilled practitioner. The benefits didn't seem too bad either.”
With one of the largest teams of air & acoustic engineers, environmental & energy consultants and support staff in the UK, we’re always looking to expand our team.
