Stroma celebrated our 15th anniversary in 2017. We hope you’ve enjoyed reading these time capsule news articles over the past 12 months. The Stroma Group has grown in that time from a small Air Testing business to a multi-million pound services provider which works across the RIBA Plan of Work stages and throughout the construction lifecycle. Through the hard work of our staff and the support of our customers the future is extremely bright.

There are now four separate divisions within the Stroma Group, comprising Stroma Certification, Stroma Tech, Stroma Software, Approved Design, BBS Building Control, Greendoor Building Control and HRS Services. These companies offer a diverse scope of services and products from Building Control, to Energy Consultancy, to Building Performance Testing, to Mobile Software, to Inspection & Maintenance, to Certification & Training and much more.

What’s next? Support throughout the construction lifecycle

Stroma’s growth strategy has been designed to better support our clients within the construction industry via the provision of niche multi-disciplinary services to deliver energy efficiency and compliance. Clients can engage with Stroma early in the Concept Design and Pre-Construction phase of a project to allow Clients, Architects and Designers the peace of mind that their project is compliant and can deliver efficiencies from day one before construction commences.

Construction phase services have always been at the core of the Stroma business and will continue to ensure developments are performing to the required efficiency levels via Air Tightness Testing and Acoustic Testing, amongst others.

Post Construction services are an increasingly important area of engagement for our clients in order to maintain the operational efficiency of an asset throughout the remainder of its lifecycle. Big issues such as Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) are paramount to ensuring compliance from next year and Stroma is supporting Facilities Managers and Property Managers with the necessary actions.
