Environment & Economy

Stroma is committed to the promotion of sustainability and compliance throughout the construction industry. We work with Government, key stakeholders and clients to ensure sustainability remains at the forefront of the national agenda. Our diverse service portfolio is geared towards equipping the industry to help the UK deliver on its environmental sustainability policies and achieve greater energy efficiency.

Economic sustainability is a core concern for Stroma; we aim to make a positive impact at both a local and national level. We aim to set a good example by sourcing responsibly, reaching the vulnerable and disadvantaged through our recruitment policies, and by helping to upskill the workforce within the built environment industry.

Our Staff

Stroma is committed to creating an inclusive, rewarding and engaging work environment. We are supportive of staff development and encourage internal career progression wherever possible. As an approved training body for the construction industry, we also deploy our Stroma Certification division to assist in staff upskilling and career development.

We encourage charitable work through staff activities and are regular supporters of national initiatives such as Children in Need and Comic Relief, in addition to fundraising for local charities including Prince of Wales Hospice and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
