Stroma Certification provides ABBE-approved Non-Domestic Energy Assessor Training to Levels 3 and 4 towards certification as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA).
Members of Stroma Certification’s NDEA certification scheme can produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Recommendation Reports and use Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) software to compliantly assess non-domestic properties.
Complete the NDEA training with Stroma Certification and you’ll gain membership of a fully audited non-domestic scheme. You’re supported by a dedicated and expert technical support team and provided with the technical resources to gain a competitive advantage within the energy assessment industry.
Stroma Certification is an approved protocol organisation in Scotland and we offer a CPD course to allow certified NDEAs to lodge EPCs in Scotland. Our NDEA certification scheme also includes an introductory module on the Scottish Building Regulations.
Established NDEAs can benefit from the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme. Stroma Certification’s ESOS training is a two-day course allowing applicants to be listed on our approved ESOS register and offer energy assessment services to UK businesses. Dates are available throughout the year and you can enquire by calling 0845 621 11 11.
We recommend the completion of a minimum of 10 CPD hours to maintain your NDEA certification. Stroma Certification provides regular CPD sessions to members through our partnerships with DesignBuilder and IES software to assist with fulfilling this requirement.
Stroma Certification’s Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) training is approved by the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE). A registration fee of £230+VAT is payable to ABBE upon course completion. We offer NDEA training across the UK and can provide the course at a location of your choosing for groups of four or more individuals.
Following course completion, Stroma Certification will award applicants certified status on receipt of a portfolio containing 3 EPCs and supporting documentation to demonstrate their ability to carry out non-domestic energy assessments.
