Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) Training

Stroma Certification's ABBE-approved Domestic Energy Assessor Training is a five-day intensive course to qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). Join the industry's largest, DCLG authorised DEA scheme. Get a license to collect domestic property data, generate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and comply with the Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP).

Complete the DEA training with Stroma Certification and you'll gain membership of a fully audited domestic scheme. You're supported by a dedicated and expert technical support team and provided with the software and technical resources to gain a competitive advantage within the energy assessment industry.

Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure

The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) governs the energy assessment of new build dwellings and is contained in Part L of the Building Regulations. In 2005, the Government introduced the Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP) to be a more cost effective means of assessing the energy performance of existing dwellings. Our DEA training provides instruction on the RdSAP methodology ensuring that an assessor can work in compliance with the current regulations.

RSAP+ Software

Stroma Certification revolutionised the process of domestic energy assessment with our RSAP+ software (RdSAP compliant). It allows DEAs to collect property data efficiently and securely when out on site. RSAP+ is available cross platform to work on any device (desktop, iOS and Android – both phone and tablet) meaning assessment data is accessible when the assessor requires it from a central user account. Our DEA training offers full tuition on the RSAP+ software and how you can utilise it on your existing devices with no additional hardware costs.
