Stroma Certification attended an online Retrofit Coordinator summit on Friday 13th November. The summit, which was hosted by The Retrofit Academy, delivered information and advice to anyone who is interested in the Retrofit Coordinator role, an essential element of the whole house retrofit process, which works in-line with the PAS 2035 Standard.
The summit boasted a panel of experts from across the industry including TrustMark, the Department of Business and Industrial Strategy and other Retrofit Coordinator Accreditation Schemes, as well as Stroma Certification.
Content at the summit was comprised of the Local Authority Delivery Scheme and the Social Housing Decarbonisation fund, as well as presentations from industry schemes and stakeholders. As the Coronavirus pandemic continues, the event was held in an online environment, with several ‘breakout rooms’ available for attendees to visit.
Stroma Certification’s Director of Energy Certification, Andrew Parkin delivered a presentation in the Stroma designated breakout room which highlighted key elements of Stroma’s Retrofit Coordinator Scheme’s offering. This outlined the benefits of joining the scheme, some information on Stroma Certification as an organisation and an exclusive offer for all attendees, bookended by a brief Q&A session.
Andrew showcased the benefits of joining the Stroma scheme, which include Dedicated Technical Support, Induction Material and Members Pack, Evolving Members Area, Regular CPD and Industry Leading Insurance via Thomas Carroll.
“Stroma were delighted to attend the Summit and host a breakout room, which gave us the opportunity to talk to potential members, answer any important questions, along with offering exclusive opportunities to those who attended . I hope that the event becomes a staple on the calendar and look forward to the next one.” Andrew Parkin, Stroma Director of Energy Certification
