We have released a response to questions set by OFGEM on the proposed Energy Company Obligation (ECO) Scoring Process for ECO 4.
Consulting on the scoring methodology for ECO4, OFGEM has asked for opinions from any company or organisation involved with energy efficiency measures. As one of the largest Certification Bodies in the UK, with over 6,000 active members and covering all Environment Product Declaration (EPD) strands, Stroma Certification has welcomed this opportunity to respond.
Stroma Certification remains a strong supporter of the ECO scheme and is enthused by the re-inclusion of EPCs and SAP/RdSAP methodologies within the scoring process.
Whilst Stroma Certification and our members are mostly unaffected by the proposals in the scoring methodology, there are a few key areas where RdSAP methodology calculations are proposed, giving reason for a response in each case.
