Central Register Fees Decreased

The Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities (DLUHC) has confirmed that Central Register fees for both domestic (RdSAP and SAP EPCs) and non-domestic (NDEA L3, L4, L5 EPCs, DECs, and ACIR L3, L4) lodgements will be reduced from 1st April 2022. This applies to all energy certificates issued within England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

From 1st April 2022, the domestic register fee will reduce from £1.64 per lodgement to £1.50 per lodgement, and the non-domestic fee from £1.89 to £1.70 per lodgement.

The fees are reflective of the cost of providing the service and the predicted ongoing lodgement volumes, which is based upon the previous years’ report lodgements. Stroma Certification will automatically change the fee we charge in your April invoice, and members do not need to do anything in preparation.

“Stroma Certification is supportive of the annual review process and a reduction to the fee is welcome for energy assessors at a time when the cost of living is going up.” - Andrew Parkin, Managing Director at Stroma Certification
