Course Content
The ABBE Level 2 Award in Awareness of Legionella will help delegates to improve your inventory competence in the provision of domestic property assessment services:
- Know the health risks associated with legionella bacteria
- Understand how legislation and Codes of Practice can support the management of legionella bacteria
- Understand how to minimise the risks of legionella bacteria
- Understand control methods used to reduce risk of infection from legionella bacteria in hot and cold-water systems
- In addition, this course will offer guidance on the assessment methodology for completing simple Legionella Risk Assessments.
