DEA Training Course

Stroma Certification's Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) training is approved by the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE). A registration fee of £230+VAT is payable to ABBE upon course completion. We offer DEA training across the UK and can provide the course at a location of your choosing for groups of four or more individuals

Day 1

• The Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations (EPBR) – discovering the targets and Governmental initiatives behind the EPC
• How to work as a DEA in a safe, effective and professional manner
• How to prepare a domestic energy assessment in order to produce an EPC
• RSAP+ overview
• Portfolio requirements
• Unit 1 and 2 upload
• Property construction types, including system build properties
• Surveying and measuring properties – including best practice
• Improving insulation

Day 2

• Heating systems
• Domestic hot water
• Renewable energy technologies
• Dating properties
• RSAP+ training

Day 3

• Property 1 Assessment
• Property 2 Assessment
• Assessments workshop – upload assessments
• Feedback from Units 1 and 2
