Steve Horrocks

Steve has been involved at Stroma from the formation of the business and has enjoyed a rapid rise to the position of Managing Director of Stroma Built Environment. Starting as an Air Tester, Steve gained experience across the organisation, subsequently moving to the Certification division. He then rose through the roles of Technical Manager and Technical Director before becoming the Managing Director of Stroma Built Environment. Steve now leads Stroma’s Built Environment division, as a leading provider of Environmental Monitoring, Performance Testing and Energy Consultancy service to the UK construction industry.

Stuart Diack

Stuart joined the team in early 2019 to lead our national team of air testing technicians and ensure Stroma Built Environment continues to deliver the highest quality testing services relied on by customers across the country. Before joining Stroma, Stuart worked for a range of international based facilities and property services groups, using new technology and process improvements to meet increasing customer expectations for quality, performance and value.

Zoe holds over 20 years of experience in the construction sales industry, with specific experience of developing key client relationships for principal contractors, architects and end user clients. With a successful history of growing the sales function of organisations and teams, Zoe has recently introduced Stroma’s new sales strategy to support the organisation’s sustained growth moving forward.

Ian Wallbank

Ian’s wealth of experience – with over 25 years working primarily in the field of acoustics - drives Stroma’s Acoustic Service offering. Ian has worked on a vast array of schemes including Environmental Impact Assessments, transport schemes, and large mixed use residential and commercial initiatives. Ian’s main fields of expertise include building and architectural acoustics, environmental noise, transportation noise and computational noise modelling. Ian promotes his client focussed and commercial attitude throughout the team resulting in tailored and cost-effective solutions to project specific matters being consistently delivered.

Andy Mitchell

Andy leads Stroma’s dynamic energy team providing best-in-class energy calculations and assessments for the wider construction industry. Andy’s team provided energy assessment services for the prestigious New Cranes Court scheme in Basildon, Essex, which was awarded ‘Sustainable Larger Housing Project of the Year’. It achieved CSH Level 6 as one of the largest zero carbon projects in the Thames Gateway. Lead by Andy, Stroma’s energy team have completed over 13,000 assessments on an array of projects.

James Browne

James leads Stroma’s Pre and Post Construction Services after gaining a wealth of experience in the air quality sector. James began his career as a newly graduated Air Quality Consultant in 2013 and has enjoy rapid career progression. He has worked on a diverse range of highway and roads projects; completing baseline monitoring, report writing, atmospheric modelling and ArcGIS analysis, as well as working on the government’s flagship HS2 project. James holds a First Class honours degree in Climate Change and Energy Management, is currently undertaking a masters in Sustainability and Environmental Management and is a full member of the Institute of Air Quality Management.

Ryan Greatrick

Ryan is qualified accountant and a member of the Stroma Group Executive Team having amassed almost a decade’s worth of experience across the Group previously as Group Financial Controller. Ryan has strategic responsibility for the financial and commercial performance of the Built Environment division as well as contributing & supporting the business growth through the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. Ryan has previously been heavily involved in the acquisition, and subsequent integration, of HRS Services & Bespoke Builder Services into Stroma Technology creating Stroma Built Environment.
