With changing legislation and increased awareness in the energy efficiency of the UK building stock, property owners and landlords must now comply with EU regulations to have a variety of assessments carried out on their buildings at set intervals throughout their lifespan. These assessments will separately look at the energy efficiency of the assets within the buildings, the amount of energy that is consumed within the properties and specifically the air-conditioning systems that are in place within them; each of the aforementioned is a separate assessment.
These assessments need to be complete on both private and public buildings to raise awareness of their energy efficiency and encourage improvements to reduce carbon emissions
