Stroma help to ensure that buildings, new and existing, reach their full energy performance potential and comply with legislation without sacrificing client satisfaction or occupier comfort

Stroma Contracting has been awarded BRE LPS1531 Third Party Accreditation

LPS1531Stroma Contracting Ltd - sister company to compliance specialists Stroma Technology Ltd - is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved third party accreditation for its fire stopping and fire protection services.

Poor installation or application of passive fire protection products may result in premature failure of the structure in the event of a fire. The BRE installer scheme, LPS 1531, awards third party approval of companies who are qualified to correctly install or apply passive fire protection products.

Already recognised as one of the UK's leading air-sealing specialists, clients can now be assured that Stroma's fire protection and fire stopping installations are third-party certified and undertaken to manufacturers' requirements. Inspections of Stroma Contracting work may also be undertaken at any point during projects, by independent assessors from the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

To gain accreditation, Stroma Contracting was subject to initial and ongoing checks of it's administrative and installation procedures. After rigorous assessment, Stroma Contracting was awarded the LPCB Approval Mark - a recognised badge of quality for passive fire protection installation worldwide. For each passive fire installation, Stroma Contracting will issue a Certificate of Conformity upon completion.

Working alongside Stroma Technology colleagues, Stroma Contracting can help attain not only the required fire-protection compliance, but also the air-tightness and acoustic integrity that can be so problematic in more complex buildings.
