Home Energy Advisors

The need for Home Energy Advisors (HEAs) has arisen from the government's desire to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in households across England and Wales. Based on the success of the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), the HEA is an initiative which the Communities and Local Government are pursuing extensively.

Stroma is proud to announce that it is a recognised provider of the Home Energy Advisor service. Given our status as accredited HEA assessors, along with our extensive experience in producing the aforementioned EPCs, Stroma Home Energy Advisors are ideally equipped to offer domestic energy assessments for both new and existing buildings.

In compliance with the HEA scheme, Stroma Home Energy Advisors will visit homeowner properties to undertake energy assessments of individual households. Their purpose is to identify and recommend ways to lower CO2 emissions and reduce fuel bills. The HEAs are trained to offer guidance on actions to take with regards to the physical measures of the building, and changes required in occupant behaviour to achieve greater energy efficiency.
