Certification & Training

Stroma Certification is approved by the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) to train, certify and support energy assessors. We provide combined training and certification packages for all strands of energy assessment including Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH).

We offer three routes to certification:

  • Qualification
  • Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning (APEL)
  • If you are already qualified with another training provider

For those with limited or no experience, we deliver flexible training courses enabling candidates to achieve their required qualification in energy assessment. Each course is taught by an established expert who ensures full preparation for the examination and assignments.

Courses are held at a variety of locations throughout the UK and ROI. In addition, we can arrange private courses at a chosen venue for groups of four or more.

Stroma also offers the opportunity to qualify via APEL, an accelerated route for experienced practitioners already working within the sector. Applications are individually assessed and a bespoke solution is recommended for the individual.
