STROMA RELEASES FREE CODE SOFTWARE

STROMA, the only private company to be fully approved by Communities and Local Government to provide training and accreditation services for the Code for Sustainable Homes, has made its exclusive software available free of charge to all code assessors.

Matthew Ferguson, Managing Director of STROMA, explains: “We are

delighted to be the only Code service provider to make the software available free of charge to everyone, including non accredited Assessors However,  anyone who lodges a report must be registered with an accredited scheme, it really is that simple!”

STROMA’s software is extremely user-friendly and requires no specialist training. The software provides a full range of features including Requirements Evaluation based on the desired code level and Automatic Report Generation customised to the individual dwelling status. The software also offers Online Synchronisation enabling users to upload reports and current status information. Real Time Certification is possible by connecting through the online system, whilst certification and lodgment, once completed, is available automatically through Stroma online services.

The software was introduced by Stroma to address the needs of developers in both the private and public sector since the Code for Sustainable Homes was extended to include all new developments.

Members of the scheme also gain extra support through Stroma’s marketing initiatives and web-site listings, including regular technical bulletins and CPD updates.

Bookings are now being taken for scheduled courses which are held on a regular basis, bespoke courses can be arranged on request. Stroma’s accredited courses are normally held in groups of no more than 12 delegates, to allow for individual tuition and are flexible to the needs of delegates.
